to believe or not to believe. --segment on religion. part oneee.

last night, i decided to go to church the next morning ... [ go jesus.] this morning within ten of minutes of the service, i left. not because i was tired , or hungry or BORED. i was UNCOMFORTABLE.. and confused..

Christianity ONLY....
r aised many questions.
why do people praise and believe in something they dont understand? 'Is it faith? That isn't too fair. Everyone wasn't born with the concept of faith... some people aren't fortunate enough to be that optimistic. Faith as well as hate is TAUGHT. &&i f this belief is solely based on FAITH THEN WHY ARE OTHER RELIGIONS LOOK AT AS WEIRD OR or evil. when chritianty can be seen the same way....

-- buddhism -[ rooted rom hinduim] is based on this prince .. who was "enlightened " and taught a path to nirvana. This religion is so similar to christianity, but because the names are changed is isn't the saME

FOR BUDDHISM/CHRIsTIANITY
god - buddha
heaven - nirvana
doing right by others as done onto you - the concept of karma
scriptures - eight fold path

only differences are big ones.. re-incarnation and dying.



the Christian Church is supposed to be accepting but why is being gay or bi sexual still not accepted. People dont ask to be BORN gay so why are the put in ANY level of exile for it. WHY should they be asha,ed if they even remotely accept themselves and their orientation..
-- in retrospect... why are their gay preists it goes against the bible.?

What i was taught growing up was that god would punish a person if they lied, god would strike the un-righteous down. etc.
but where is this striking down now.. ? in other countries where people are being mutilated, starved and sacrificed.

ALOT OF it all JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO ME.

I beleive a religionshould fit you. a person should not HAVE to fit a religion.

I also wonder what the misconception is..
what if GOD i this popping person....
THis cool dude who's more understadning than we think. WHY is everything revolving around things not god oriented eternal damnation. why is christianity so scary..?


WHY are there so many denominations

For one i cannot iunderstand catholisicm
why is ANYONE praying to a statue of a saint to get to god .. when the bible says he died on a cross so we wouldnt have to do that.

-- how does anyone know that when they pray someone is actually there lstening..

but it's all based on faith i'm assuming. it's just hard really hard when you cant see hear or feel anything but fear.

and its so hard to believe a religion when it contradicts it self constantly.

The sam epeople who are the QUICKEST to scream out things like
"well!"
and "praise jesus"
are the same ones who talk about what a lady wore last sunday....

walking out of the s bathrooom at chuch this morning i heard a middle aged woman say something bout a woman whohasnt her bill in two moths. i wondered why this conversation was going on in church. but i just kept on in my own business....

in the SAME light. i dont reallyunderstand how atheists do it...
how a person can not believe in anything. and yet till have morals... when religion supposedly has teaches these things. Guess that goes to show yu.. but personallly believing in nothing is quite depessing. to think that once yu die. you die. and thats it ,.. no re-incarnation, no hell or heaven.. no "limboo" its a pretty heavy burden to bear.

IDK WHAT to believe. i Just know that there IS something out there.but i dont know what it is...
